Where and When is the Wedding?

The wedding is at Athol Hall on the 7th February 2026
Address:
2 Athol Wharf Road
Ashton Park
Mosman NSW 2088
The ceremony will start at 5pm so please try to arrive 15-30mins earlier at the latest.

What is the 'Black Tie Optional' dress code?

The dress code is Black Tie Optional. This means you have the flexibility to wear a tuxedo or a formal suit. For the ladies, a formal gown or a dressy cocktail dress is appropriate.
To help you find the perfect outfit, here are a few tips and links for inspiration:
For Men:
  • Tuxedo: A classic black or navy tuxedo with a black bow tie, white dress shirt, and patent leather shoes is always a perfect choice.
  • Formal Suit: If you prefer not to wear a tuxedo, a dark, well-tailored suit (black, navy, or charcoal) with a conservative tie and dress shoes is a great alternative.
For Women:
  • Formal Gown: A long, floor-length evening gown is ideal. You can choose a formal dress in a rich color or a classic neutral.
  • Dressy Cocktail Dress: A sophisticated cocktail dress that is knee-length or longer is also appropriate. Consider luxurious fabrics like silk, satin, or velvet to elevate your look.
  • Shoes: The ceremony will be on the lawn, so you may want to opt for wedges, block heels, or flats to ensure you're comfortable on the grass. Stilettos may sink!

Is there Parking available?

Yes, there is limited parking available within Sydney Harbour National Park, close to the venue. Please note that a per-vehicle entry fee may apply, and spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis. Consider arriving early to secure a spot.

How can I get there using public transport?

The nearest public transport is the ferry to Taronga Zoo Wharf. From there, Athol Hall is a short walk away.

You can catch a ferry from Circular Quay, which operates regularly.

The venue is also accessible by bus, with stops near Taronga Zoo.

We recommend using the Transport NSW trip planner to find the most convenient route from your location.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be held outdoors on the Lawn, which offers stunning views of Sydney Harbour. In the case of wet weather, the ceremony will be moved in the Hall.

Are children welcome?

Yes, absolutely! We adore your little ones and would love for them to be a part of our special day.

If you are planning on bring along your little one(s), please leave us a note in the RSVP.

Will there be an open bar?

Pffft. Of course, there's a free bar!

This day is a celebration of the great Bairaktaris and Farrell families, and we intend to raise a glass (or several!) to honour this momentous occasion.

If anyone is seen without a drink in their hand at all times, there will be trouble. You've been warned!
